Our new video series Meet Bryan ISD is designed to be a special treat just for you! We want to get to know more about the amazing employees that make this District a better place. Enjoy!

AT THIS YEAR’S SHOWCASE…

For the 2019 Bryan ISD Showcase from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at SFA Middle School, we’re unveiling a new feature that’s all about YOU! The video screens around SFA will be filled with YOUR photos and videos IF you use the hashtag:

#BISDShowcase

Just remember to submit work-appropriate photos and videos using the hashtag on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The selection of photos and videos to be shown on the screens is not guaranteed. Please note, your social media privacy settings should be set to public and Instagram & Twitter posts are more likely to show up on the screens.

Neal Elementary’s student garden reinforces the bryanisd.org/essential8 trait of work ethic & reaps a variety of learning opportunities. Neal students will be recording weather conditions, temperature, precipitation & vegetable growth. They will also be sending soil samples into Texas A&M for analysis & they will host a Saturday neighborhood farmer’s market after they harvest the vegetables! #Wow#GreenThumbLearning#TellTheStory

Bryan/College Station is a vibrant place to live, learn and play. We live in a community with numerous opportunities to experience culture, music and exciting events. The upcoming events below are just a few of the many ways you can plug into our community.

  • Feb. 1 & Feb. 2: New York! New York! – The Bryan High Choirs & Theatre will be presenting New York! New York! A Tale of Different Cities Feb. 1 & 2 at 7 p.m. in the Bryan ISD PAC next to SFA Middle School. The script was written by Grace Gutierrez, Bryan High 11th-grade student! You will hear a mix of classic & contemporary Broadway tunes woven through the script. ALL Bryan ISD Employees receive FREE Admission with your school ID, but if you would like to support our trip fundraising you are welcome to purchase a ticket. ๐Ÿ™‚ Tickets can be purchased from any Bryan High choir or theatre student. The price is $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

  • Feb. 5: The King and I – Rodgers & Hammerstein’s renowned musical is playing at the Rudder Auditorium in College Station Feb. 5 and Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. Click here for ticket information.
  • Feb. 14: Dinner & a Movie? – You can celebrate Valentine’s Day with the Humphrey Bogart and Audrey Hepburn classic, “Sabrina” 7 p.m. Feb. 14. Visit tickets.queenbryantx.com/tickets to purchase tickets online.
  • Feb. 21: Shen Yun – Shen Yun invites you to travel back to the magical world of ancient China through the classical Chinese dance company that performs around the world and at Rudder Auditorium in College Station 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21. Click here for ticket information.
  • Every Tuesday: Rx Pizza Trivia Night – Rx will host live trivia at the College Station location, every Tuesday with AggielandTrivia starting at 8:00 p.m. Up to 6 people can be on a team. ESSENTIAL EIGHT

Bryan ISD students learned how to be determined by developing a healthy work ethic in January. You are encouraged to continue help spreading the word about the importance of a strong work ethic.
