In addition to being the star of the Caption This photo above, Donna Huseman earned a $50 Chick-fil-A gift card for her entry in last month’s Creative Writing Contest. She expressed her love for her favorite pie in the Great Holiday Food Debate. Check out her entry below.
THE GREAT HOLIDAY FOOD DEBATE RESULTS
The results are in. Step aside David, Buster Douglas and the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team, the greatest upset of all time might just have occurred when 54% of Bryan ISD employees said they prefer canned cranberry sauce over the homemade version. View more results in the graphic below.

KUDOS
Kudos to the Bilingual Department for sending Dr. Wanda Baker off in style! The group didn’t let a little rain deter them from showing their appreciation for Dr. Baker with a fun beach-themed driveby retirement party. Also, kudos to Dr. Baker for your wonderful work over the years. Best wishes on the next chapter of your life.
CARMEN HUTCHERSON’S SIDE GIG
Carmen Hutcherson, School Leadership Administrative Assistant, has a secret talent, and there’s a very good chance she’s part elf. For the past several years, she’s traveled down to Santa’s Wonderland after work to help assemble their wonderful miniature Christmas villages. This year, she decided to “cut back” by devoting only 80 hours to the popular tourist destination. If you go this year, make sure to check out her amazing work on the Holyland Collection and the Dickens’ Village Series displays.
