FUNNY PHOTO CONTEST
Calling all funny employees! You’re invited to submit one funny photo of yourself in your school/campus/office/athletic field to info@bryanisd.org by 12 p.m. March 21 with “FUNNY PHOTO” in the subject line. You’re welcome to include other employees in the photo, but there is ONE ENTRY/PERSON so decide among yourselves who the primary subject of the photo is. If you’re sending a group photo or your face is obscured, please describe which one you are. Duplicate photos entered by multiple employees will be excluded from consideration.
Also, if students are used in your photo, please ensure that they are “photo-safe” (your school’s front office can provide that information). And, please do not disturb other classrooms in taking your photo. Finally, please ensure your photo submission is appropriate and safe for work.
Other than that, be creative, use props (mascot heads, funny outfits, etc.) and have fun!
The winner will be announced in next month’s edition of Inside Bryan ISD and will be rewarded with a $50 gift card.

You may have seen several of the Oscar-nominated films, but have you seen Bryan ISD’s feature-length movie? Our Facebook Live stream of the Bryan ISD Showcase ran for 1 hour and 29 minutes and 31 seconds, but it was chock-full of an hour and a half of fun!
In the News Highlight
Bailey Robert, Bryan High School Assistant Theatre Director, door decoration honoring Katherine Johnson for Black History Month quickly went viral on social media and generated several local media stories. One day after a photo of the door was posted on Bailey’s personal Facebook page, it received over 10,000 likes and 7,000 shares. The total reach for the photo posted on Bryan ISD’s Facebook page is 92,779 people!

The Communications department received three Gold Stars Awards from TSPRA for work on the Grow With Us brochure, school fact cards and a photo featuring a Bryan ISD volunteer. Additionally, two Silver Stars were given to Bryan ISD Communications for its Explore Academy and Story of My Photo videos. Finally, the team earned a Crystal Commendation Certificate of Merit for its work on the District’s Tax Ratification Election. We are honored to have the privilege to help tell the Bryan ISD story here at home and around our state!
