The Davila\u00a0UIL\u00a0academic team has begun practices for\u00a0UIL\u00a0events in preparation for the district meet on Saturday, March 28th.\u00a0 Attached is a coaching roster, along with a list of events and their descriptions.\u00a0 As you have time, please read the events pertaining to your subject area, and help us identify scholars who may excel in academic competition.\u00a0 This is an opportunity for scholars to find and use their gifts and talents and have fun competing against school and district peers.\u00a0 Competing at the middle school level will also prepare them for the high school competition, and if they medal at state at the high school level, they’ll win scholarship money!\u00a0\u00a0
Feel free to contact coaches with the names of scholars you’re suggesting, and definitely tell those scholars that you see potential in them for specific events– call out their greatness!
