As we are all aware our absences this year are higher than ever due to many issues-Babies, illness, and quarantine. ESS is stretched thin, however they have done a great job filling our position as they can each day. Just think we have not had to use teachers to cover teachers very often and block schedule also help. Please make sure you are entering needed absence into Frontline as soon as you know.
Even if you “think” you maybe out please go head and put yourself out early. You must put yourself out by 6:00 AM of the day of the absences. After 6:00 AM, you are expected to be in school for the day. If there is a last-minute emergency we will discuss that as needed.
Don’t forget you must verbally contact your appraiser for each absence. Email or text is not an acceptable form of communication.
Personal Discretionary or Comp time requests must be requested AT LEAST five days in advance. We also cannot promise that all requests will be granted due to the number of absences for that specific days. The earlier you request the more chance you have at them being approved.
