TELPAS Update
Online Testing:
First of all, a huge shout out to all who have TELPAS tested this week: Heidi Ragusa, Jennifer Jones, Lisa Mendez, Josh Trevino, Marianna Krauter, Roxanne Phillips, Ginger Scarborough, Kellie Anderle, and Tashia Terry. These folks have worked tirelessly to ensure every scholar was given the opportunity to do their best.
Secondly, thanks to our three folks and Mr. Fleming who have been “displaced” during testing for 2 days. It is hard to move from class to class each period plus have a substitute in the positions. Our students, as you know struggle with changes, and these were two huge challenges for them.
Here is the lowdown on testing as of Thursday afternoon. We have tested in 7th grade 131 student with Listening and Speaking of 147 to test. In reading we have tested 99 of that total number. For 8th grade we have tested 133 of 177 students with Listening and Speaking plus we have completed 104 reading tests.
We will test one group of 8th scholars today with NAC students testing on Monday. For Tuesday and Wednesday, we will be picking up students who were absent or did not complete the reading test. You will receive a list each day of scholars testing so stay tuned.
Our goal is to finish as many as possible by next Wednesday afternoon. Thanks so much for all your help in getting students where they need to be for testing this week.
