To All BISD Employees:
Mandatory annual Human Resources (HR) training courses will be conducted through Eduphoria’s eCourse system to fulfill state and federal requirements. The deadline for all course completion is Friday, September 27, 2019, unless the course has a unique deadline.
Please read all the contents of this email carefully.
Directions for accessing these courses are provided below:
1. Login to Eduphoria and select Strive – see the attached navigation directions or go to Accessing HR Training in Strive
2. Select the Human Resources filter
3. Register for each of the following modules:
1. HR Employee Handbook (30 min)
2. HR Health Emergency Guidelines (80 min)
3. HR Blood Borne Pathogens Training (30 min)
4. HR Technology Acceptable Use Guidelines (10 min)
5. HR IDEA Child Find (20 min)
6. HR Sexual Harassment Training (35 min)
7. HR Drug Awareness Training (40 min)
8. HR Data Security (20 min)
9. HR Active Shooter training (65 min)
10. HR Policy Reminders (60 min)
11. HR Child Sexual Abuse Prevention [All campus staff and bus drivers] (3 hours)
12. HR Mental Health Training for Educators [teachers, instructional aides, instructional coaches, counselors, and campus admin] (3 hours) THIS IS WORKING NOW!!
13. HR Dyslexia training [for teachers only] (10 min)
14. HR Bilingual training [for new teachers only] (4 hours)
4. For each course, select the Course Content Tab and click the View button.
5. For each course, you will need to pass an assessment and/or complete the acknowledgment. You may need to select the score assessment twice.
6. HR does not require you to print and send a certificate to our office (HR is able to track the completion of each course electronically). Campus principals may require a copy for campus records.

- Denise Mitchell can assist you with any questions.
- All auxiliary staff will need to complete modules number 1 – 10. Bus drivers also will need to complete module 11.
- All paraprofessional staff will need to complete modules number 1 – 11. Instructional aides will also need to complete module 12.
- Each Eduphoria course assessment can be retaken up to 5 times. If you need additional attempts to pass the course, please email Denise Mitchell for a reset.
- If you pass the assessment and are having difficulty with receiving HR course credit, please email Denise Mitchell.
- * Any new staff member hired after August 20, 2019, will have 60 days to complete these modules.
