BISD exited the following number of EL scholars in previous school years:

2015 – 86 scholars

2016 – 178 scholars

2017 – 284 scholars

2018 – only 67 scholars

 

Scholars were not exited for the following reasons:

Failure to Pass STAAR Reading – 6 scholars

Failure to Pass STAAR Writing – 54 scholars

With the introduction of the Listening and Speaking portions of the test online.

Failure to rate Advanced High onTELPAS Listening – 36 scholars

Failure to rate Advanced High on TELPAS SPEAKING – 240 scholars
