Medical Plan Enhancements for 2019

Airrosti

Experiencing muscle or joint pain in your knees, back, shoulders, neck, or other areas of your body?

Fix your pain without surgery, needles, prescriptions, or long-term treatment plans. Airrosti’s doctors are trained to evaluate and treat the root cause of your symptoms, resolving pain at the source – typically in just 3 visits! Airrosti is an in-network benefit for all Bryan ISD medical plan members (standard copays and deductibles apply), and no referral is required. To learn more or schedule an Airrosti appointment, visit Airrosti.com or call 800-404-6050. There are two locations in the Bryan/College Station area.  These visits will be covered 100% after your plan’s office visit copay beginning January 1, 2019.

Member Rewards by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas

Did you know that prices for the same quality medical services could differ by thousands of dollars within the same region and health plan network? We are excited to introduce Member Rewards—a new program, administered by Vitals*, that offers cash rewards when a lower-cost, quality provider is selected from several possibilities.  Make your benefits program work for you.  This service will be available beginning 01/01/19.  You can call Customer Service, and a representative can help you walk through the process.  You can also visit via Blue Access for Members at www.bcbstx.com by clicking on Doctors and Hospitals and Shop for Procedures.  Once you have completed these steps, all you have to do is wait for your check in the mail if you select one of the rewarding options.

  • Member Rewards allows you to shop for your healthcare services in a similar way, and as the following examples show, the differences can be significant.
  • Best of all—shopping with Member Rewards could minimize your out-of-pocket costs and help give you a cash reward.

A Blue Cross Blue Shield Representative will be visiting campuses throughout the month of October to explain these new benefit enhancements.
