It is hard to believe that we are already in the month of May. It seems like just a few short weeks ago we were welcoming students back into the building after a very long break. One thing that we have learned this year is that our Ross Raccoons are resilient! With so many changes inside and out of the classroom, our students took it all in stride with a positive attitude and a smile on their faces. We are truly thankful for all of the support we have received this year and we are looking forward to some time off to reflect and come back strong for the 2021-2022 school year!
Testing:
May is the month of testing! We have so many important assessments happening across the campus that provide very valuable data on student achievement. Please help us out by making sure that your student has a good night of sleep and a healthy breakfast on the following dates. Remember…breakfast is FREE for all students at Ross!

District Power Camps:
Bryan ISD students entering grades 1-9 in the fall of 2021 are invited to attend the all-new District Power Camp for students! During Power Camp, students will benefit from hands-on learning experiences in multiple subject areas that will help prepare them for the 2021-2022 school year. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation services are offered at no cost! Students will attend face-to-face and are expected to follow the Bryan ISD Dress Code and Code of Conduct.

● July 19-22 from 7:30-12:30

Award Ceremonies:
Award Ceremonies will be hosted in the student’s classroom and a link will be provided for parents to attend virtually. Please be on the lookout for a letter from your child’s teacher that will provide you with more information. All letters will be sent home by May 7th!
Promotion Ceremonies:
We will be hosting Promotion and Awards Ceremonies for our Kindergarten and 4th-grade students. Each student will be allowed to invite two people to observe the ceremony in person. In order to attend, the two invited guests must have a ticket and follow all safety protocols such as a mask and social distancing. If you are unable to attend please use the link below to join us virtually.
On the day of the ceremonies, visitors will enter the building at the rear entry doors closest to our cafeteria. A map of the school and entry doors is provided below. If you plan on taking your child home with you after the ceremony, please check in with the teacher to sign them out and pick up a sticker that will notify us that you are taking the student home.
