We hope everyone is doing well and soaking up\nprecious time with our awesome Raider students!! Teacher Appreciation is the\nweek of May 4th<\/sup>-May 8th<\/sup> and since we can\u2019t be in the\nbuilding, we tried to be a little creative in ways to show our hard-working\nRayburn teachers and staff how much we appreciate their dedication to our\nchildren. Below is what we have planned for the week and if you would like to\nparticipate in any of the day\u2019s events, please feel free to do so as they would\ntruly appreciate the love and support!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Monday, May 4th<\/sup>\n-Teacher Appreciation Form: We have a prefilled teacher\nappreciation google form that can be accessed here https:\/\/forms.gle\/2fzYNkUjngCaqEkN6<\/a> .Please\nhave your child fill out as many as they want for any Rayburn teacher or staff\nmember by Saturday, May 2nd. <\/strong>These\nwill be reviewed and sent out to desired recipients on Monday, May 4th<\/sup><\/strong>.\nWe hope to fill their day with love and encouragement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Tuesday, May 5th-\nCard my Yard: We have ordered a sign for our Rayburn teachers and\nstaff that will be displayed out in the front of Rayburn facing the bypass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Wednesday, May\n6th- Car Parade: Need to get out of the house for a bit?\nLoad up the family and come by Rayburn for our Teacher Appreciation Car Parade!\nWe will line up as we do for arrival\/dismissal with the first car stopping\ntowards the back entrance and begin our parade at 12:30! Feel free to decorate\nyour cars with signs but most importantly, your child\u2019s smiling face and waving\nhands from the window will be the greatest sight for our teachers and staff!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thursday, May 7th<\/sup>–\nTeacher Appreciation Video: We will work on one memorable video\nfor our teachers and staff that will collaborate all our efforts. The concept\nof the video is one compiled thank you note or one letter from all our\nstudents. To achieve this, each video will need to begin with your child\ncatching a pencil (someone will need to be out of frame and toss the pencil to\nthem) then act like they are writing something and verbalize a short video of\ntheir appreciation (please try and keep it under 15 seconds). After speaking,\nthe student will then need to toss the pencil. When all our videos or compiled\ntogether, it will look like our students are catching and tossing the pencil to\neach other (I hope). Videos without\npencil tossing will be just fine too!! Please email your video to Teacherapp2020@gmail.com<\/a>\nby Saturday, May 2nd<\/sup>.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Friday, May 8th- Teacher\nGoodies: If you\/your student would like to give someone at\nRayburn a card, letter, gift card or any other type of gift, there will be\nsomeone outside Rayburn Thursday April\n30th<\/sup> from 9 a.m. -6 p.m<\/strong>. They will have a bin for you to leave\nyour gift in. Your item will be put in their own box within the mailroom on Friday May 8Th<\/sup><\/strong> so please\nmake sure it is labeled properly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We know times are hard so please feel free to do\nwhat you are able, and we want to thank you for your time and help in making\nthis Teacher Appreciation Week the best one yet for our well deserved Rayburn\nteachers and staff!!
