Some delivery services are asking for the students to come get the food from them at the front office, but we will not call students to the office without proper identification. If you have food delivered and they ask for the student but don’t have ID contact information on file with us, we will not call the child. Please know that this is a safety concern and we cannot allow strangers to talk to your children or give them food when we do not know the authenticity of the delivery.

If you have an appointment and will be checking out your child, please arrive with plenty of time to possibly wait for your child to be called when you arrive in the office and show proper identification. We can not pull students from instruction until you are in the building and show ID.

Please know that if you are pulling your child from instruction during the day, they are missing learning. We have family members who come to the school and ask us to pull kids from their classes so they can talk to them. While you do have the right to do this (with proper identification), please know that you are disturbing the learning environment and distracting your child and the other students in the class by pulling them during instructional time. Unless it is an emergency, we ask that you wait to talk to them when they go home or join them during their lunchtime, instead of interrupting their school day.

School starts at 7:35! We will close our front doors at 7:36 and any students who enter at that time or after, are marked as late arrivals. All the missed instructional minutes add up and students can be required to make up the lost instruction. Our doors open at 7:00 and our line moves quickly, so please get here in time to drop your student off so they aren’t tardy.

Thank you for your support in keeping our kids in school so they can receive their full instructional minutes and keep learning!

_______________________________________________________________________________________________

¡Hola Raider Familias!

Hello Raider Families!
