{"id":1300,"date":"2022-08-28T19:14:38","date_gmt":"2022-08-29T00:14:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.bryanisd.org\/rayburnnews\/?p=1300"},"modified":"2022-08-29T08:54:29","modified_gmt":"2022-08-29T13:54:29","slug":"important-information-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bryanisd.org\/rayburnnews\/2022\/08\/28\/important-information-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Important Information"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Hello Raiders!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is this week&#8217;s Rayburn information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Student Tardies and Check-Out early policies:  <\/span><\/strong>Tardies will begin being counted on Tuesday, Sep. 6th.  All students should be dropped off and walk into the building before 7:35 a.m.  Our front doors open at 7:00 a.m.  Tardies will be marked for any student walking into the building at 7:45 or later.  1st period lost instructional minutes add up and contribute to truancy.  Also, checking out your child early will lead to the accumulation of lost instructional minutes in 5th period, which also contributes to truancy.  Transition tardies between classes will be marked by teachers and any patterns in tardies will be communicated by teachers directly to parents and guardians.<\/li><li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Student Lunch Info: <\/span><\/strong> If you&#8217;d like to eat lunch with your child, just ask them which lunch they go to.  When you visit, you must show your License\/ID and wear your visitor sticker while on campus.  You may only go to and from the cafeteria and cannot visit the classroom while here for a lunch visit.  Visitors must eat on stage with their child only, and cannot take other students onto the stage with them, nor can visitors approach or talk to other students in the cafeteria.  If this happens, you will be asked to leave.  Here are our lunch times:<ul><li>5th Grade A Lunch:   10:34-11:04<\/li><li>5th Grade B Lunch:   11:14-11:44<\/li><li>6th Grade C Lunch:   11:57-12:27<\/li><li>6th Grade D lunch:   12:37-1:07<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Lunch Deliveries:<\/span><\/strong>  If you deliver lunch to your child, please ensure you know the following info when dropping off food: Student&#8217;s first and last name, student&#8217;s grade, and student&#8217;s ID#.  This helps us find your student before their lunch so we can deliver it quickly.  We cannot sign for food delivery services.<\/li><li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Gift Deliveries:<\/span><\/strong>  We cannot accept gift deliveries for students, e.g. balloons, flowers, stuffed animals, etc.  If a delivery is sent for a student, we will call home and notify guardians that it must be picked up from the front office by an adult.<\/li><li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Student Dress Code: <\/span><\/strong> We follow the BISD Dress and Grooming Policy, located in the Student Handbook, pp. 47-48.  This week, if your student arrives at school out of the dress code, we will call you to bring a change of clothes.  Next week they will be sent to our DMC room until you can arrive. Todos los estudiantes deben de llegar y entrar a la escuela antes de las 7:35 a.m. Nuestras puertas delanteras se abren a las 7:00 a.m. Tardanzas ser\u00e1n marcados para cualquier estudiante que entra en el edificio a las 7:45 o m\u00e1s tarde. Los minutos de instrucci\u00f3n perdidos en per\u00edodo 1 suman y contribuyen al ausentismo escolar. Tambi\u00e9n, si saca su hijo temprano, la acumulaci\u00f3n de minutos de instrucci\u00f3n perdidos en el per\u00edodo 5, lo cual tambi\u00e9n contribuye al ausentismo escolar. Las tardanzas de transici\u00f3n entre clases ser\u00e1n marcadas por los maestros y cualquier patr\u00f3n en tardanzas ser\u00e1 comunicado por los maestros directamente a los padres y tutores.<\/li><li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Informaci\u00f3n sobre el almuerzo del estudiante: <\/span><\/strong>Si desea almorzar con su hijo, s\u00f3lo tiene que preguntarle a qu\u00e9 almuerzo van. Cuando usted visita, usted debe mostrar su licencia\/identificaci\u00f3n y usar su pegatina de visitante mientras est\u00e1 en el campus. Usted s\u00f3lo puede ir y salir de la cafeter\u00eda y no puede visitar el sal\u00f3n de clase mientras est\u00e9 aqu\u00ed para una visita de almuerzo. Los visitantes deben comer en el escenario s\u00f3lo con su hijo, y no pueden llevar a otros estudiantes al escenario con ellos, ni los visitantes pueden acercarse o hablar con otros estudiantes en la cafeter\u00eda.\u00a0Si esto sucede, se le pedir\u00e1 que se vaya. Esto nos ayuda a encontrar a su estudiante antes de su almuerzo para que podamos entregarlo r\u00e1pidamente. No podemos firmar servicios de entrega de alimentos.<\/li><li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Entregas de regalos:<\/span><\/strong> No podemos aceptar entregas de regalos para los estudiantes, por ejemplo globos, flores, animales de peluche, etc. Si una entrega es enviada para un estudiante, llamaremos a casa y notificaremos a los tutores que debe ser recogida de la oficina por un adulto.<\/li><li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">C\u00f3digo de Vestimenta Estudiantil: <\/span><\/strong>Seguimos la Pol\u00edtica de Vestimenta y Acomodaci\u00f3n de BISD, localizada en el Manual del Estudiante, pp. 47-48. Esta semana, si su estudiante llega a la escuela fuera del c\u00f3digo de vestimenta, le llamaremos para traer una muda de ropa. La pr\u00f3xima semana se enviar\u00e1n a nuestra habitaci\u00f3n DMC hasta que pueda llegar.
