{"id":1112,"date":"2021-05-10T15:03:31","date_gmt":"2021-05-10T20:03:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.bryanisd.org\/rayburnnews\/?p=1112"},"modified":"2021-05-10T15:03:31","modified_gmt":"2021-05-10T20:03:31","slug":"laptop-collection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bryanisd.org\/rayburnnews\/2021\/05\/10\/laptop-collection\/","title":{"rendered":"Laptop Collection"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dear Bryan ISD Parents and Guardians,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beginning the week of May 3, 2021, your child\u2019s school, Rayburn Intermediate, began collecting student-issued technology from students.\u00a0 This allows for the equipment to be cleaned and for any necessary repairs to be made so the equipment is ready for use when your child returns to school this Fall.\u00a0 It is important that all equipment is returned.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Items to be returned:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Laptop Computer<\/li><li>Backpack style Computer Case<\/li><li>Laptop Charger<\/li><li>Wifi HotSpot (as applicable)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>During collection, students will be provided with a receipt of return for their records.\u00a0 Any fines assessed due to lost, stolen, or damaged equipment will be noted on the form.\u00a0 However, do <strong>not <\/strong>send money with your child for any fines.\u00a0 Technology staff will follow up with parents\/guardians as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Equipment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the equipment is lost or damaged, either intentionally or due to negligence, the student <strong>may<\/strong> be subject to discipline and you <strong>may<\/strong> be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.
