Parents of 5th grade students,
All 5th grade students will be taking a trip to the Performing Arts Center on Thursday, January 20. The purpose of this trip is for your child to see our high school fine arts programs before they choose which program to begin next year. There is no wrong choice when it comes to Fine Arts, but we want to make sure that our programs are highlighted so they can choose what interests them most.
Following the recruitment event, you will receive a survey to make their top three choices. We will do our best to help your student have a successful year, no matter what program they choose. It is the philosophy of Bryan ISD Fine Arts that no student should be denied the opportunity of participating due to financial hardship. If you are concerned about the financial obligation of a program, please reach out to the 6th grade director, as well as your child’s counselor.

***Because students will be off campus, there will be NO CHECK-OUTS for 5th graders after 12:30 p.m. If you have a doctor’s appointment, please check your child out by 12:30 p.m. on this day!
