*Word of the Week – Many of you have been asking about our word of the week challenge. Each week, I give the kids a new vocabulary word to practice using. These are complex words and if a student either emails me or tells me a sentence using the word, they get PBIS points. I will begin sharing the words with y’all too so you can encourage a strong vocabulary at home! Last week’s word was “crabwise” which means sideways. This week’s word is “heyday” which means, the period of one’s greatest popularity or prosperity.
