Structured Snack Time
- In an effort to maintain social distancing throughout our lunches, we’ve moved from 4 to 6 lunch periods. It is important to hold kids over until they either get to their late lunch or get home after an early lunch, so we’ve begun a snack time for all students.
- 2nd period – 6th grade
- 4th period – 5th grade
- Students can bring something from home (not messy, bright orange, or spill-able) to eat during this long time. Students must leave their mask on, lift their mask from the bottom, pop the food in their mouth, then immediately drop the mask while they chew.
- I hope this helps kids get through the day more comfortably. I know they are growing and need sustenance!
Dismissal Information
- We have had great success with our dismissal procedures! Thank you for helping to follow the flow so we can dismiss as safely and efficiently as possible.
- Reminder – car riders must be in the car rider line. We cannot accept walk-ups or parked cars. Nor can you drive into the bus area. Also, we will not release students to cars parked on the frontage road.
- Make sure you have your car rider number prominently displayed in your window so we can call your child quickly. If you do not have a number, stay in the line and we will get you one.
- If you are changing how your child is going home for the day, you must either send a note to the first period teacher, or email the front desk from a guardian email address on file. If you are changing over the phone, you must be able to provide your child’s ID number for security measures.
