Hello Raider Families!
Please continue to check our BISD district website for the more current and accurate news and updates on COVID-19 and how our district is working to keep students and families involved!
A couple of things:
- Chromebook deployment begins tomorrow. If you requested to check out a device for your student/s to be able to do schoolwork from home, you should be receiving a phone call from a member of our administration to set up a pick-up time. All devices will be picked up from Rayburn. If you still need to complete the device survey, you can find it HERE: COVID-19 Survey
- Starting today, the Rayburn lunch site will be closed and Jones Elementary will be open. Grab & Go lunches are still from 11-1, and at Jones, Bryan High, Kemp-Carver, and Jane Long.
- Bryan ISD will begin using a learning management system called Schoology. This system will allow teachers to share lessons with students, and for students to complete work and “turn it in” similar to actually being in a classroom. Our team is working on lessons right now, and we plan to focus on the core subject areas first. While still in development, when we have more information about when this will start, I will let you know.
