Fostering students’ confidence in problem solving helps grow their love for mathematics. In the summer training, Linking Math to Literacy, we focused on embedding problem solving in math work.

Instead of completing a large number of problems try focusing on only one or two challenging problems that require students to use the problem solving model, See/Plan/Do/Reflect.

If you are looking for more information on the problem solving model, check this folder in Team Connect, or your visit with your math instructional coach.
