Bryan ISD Foundation Teacher Grants

Congratulations to Mitchell Elementary Grant Recipients:

Kerry Gray (expansion of multicultural books in the library)

Jonathan Hawkins (StemScopes resources for science experiments)

The Bryan ISD Education Foundation was created to enrich and maximize the quality of education in the Bryan schools by providing financial support for programs that assist in achieving academic excellence. The Foundation, as well as the businesses and individuals who support it, believes that innovative and creative approaches to teaching can benefit our students. To this end, the Foundation developed the Grants-To-Teachers Program.

This program, with its emphasis on INNOVATIVE PROJECTS and CREATIVE TEACHING APPROACHES, provides funding, not otherwise available, for projects which have a potential to enhance the learning process.

Bulldog Blast

Each morning during the daily announcements, we blast out names of some amazing students who got caught doing something great! We celebrate those who notice the good things, and we celebrate the behaviors of those who were noticed.

Teachers can recognize students.

Students can recognize students.

Our Bulldog B.E.S.T. is on display when students and staff are choosing to encourage others! And we are seeing positive behaviors spread because students choose to show ownership and take part in the team.
