Drug Free

We are so proud of the effort our students and staff put into Red Ribbon Week! We know that dressing up does not protect our children from the threat of drug or alcohol abuse, but we are committed to teaching our students about the importance of making healthy choices for life!

Bryan ISD Foundation Teacher Grants

Congratulations to Mitchell Elementary Grant Recipients:

Kerry Gray (expansion of multicultural books in the library)

Jonathan Hawkins (StemScopes resources for science experiments)

The Bryan ISD Education Foundation was created to enrich and maximize the quality of education in the Bryan schools by providing financial support for programs that assist in achieving academic excellence. The Foundation, as well as the businesses and individuals who support it, believes that innovative and creative approaches to teaching can benefit our students. To this end, the Foundation developed the Grants-To-Teachers Program.

This program, with its emphasis on INNOVATIVE PROJECTS and CREATIVE TEACHING APPROACHES, provides funding, not otherwise available, for projects which have a potential to enhance the learning process.
