The Bryan Collegiate PTSO Needs You!

In May of 2020, elections for the Bryan Collegiate PTSO Executive Board will be taking place. If you will have a student at Bryan Collegiate next year and are looking for a place to serve at Bryan Collegiate, the PTSO is looking for people to fill these positions for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. President – Preside at General BCHS-PTSO meetings and Executive Board meetings, prepare agendas for Executive Board meetings, serve as the official representative of the BCHS-PTSO, and retain all official records of the BCHS-PTSO.

Vice President – Oversee the team system of the BCHS-PTSO, assist the President and chair meetings in the absence of the President. Will assist in other executive positions as needed.

Secretary – record and distribute minutes of all Executive Board meetings and all General BCHS-PTSO meetings, prepare agendas for General BCHS-PTSO meetings, hold historical records for the BCHS-PTSO. 

Treasurer – Serve as custodian of the BCHS-PTSO finances, collect and deposit revenue, pay authorized expenses, report financial activity every month, prepare year-end financial report, and hold all financial records.

Fundraising Coordinator – Coordinate a team of sub-committees to collaborate fundraising and profit share events to raise funds for the Bryan Collegiate PTSO. The Fundraising Coordinator will report progress and event dates at monthly meetings.

Project Graduation Coordinator – Oversee a group of volunteer sub-committee members which will secure a venue that is approved by the members for Project Graduation.  Reach out to the community for in kind donations and sponsorship.  The coordinator will also reach out to other high schools in BISD to coordinate meetings for a joint fundraiser in the community.  Other duties will include coordinating the Project Graduation event night which is held the night of graduation.
