Sheila Homeyer, M.Ed. – Bryan Collegiate Counselor
After growing up in the Houston area and graduating high school, coming to Bryan/College Station to go to school at Texas A&M was like a breath of fresh air! Mrs. Homeyer earned both a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from Texas A&M university. In addition to earning a degree and obtaining a teaching job at Mumford Elementary after she graduated, she met her husband, Carl. That is when the city girl moved to the farm. However, she did not get too far from town as she continued to teach and counsel for the next 20 years while raising their 4 children: Madison, Abby, Ernie & Tess. Coming to Bryan Collegiate was the most exciting event, yet in her career. Mrs. Homeyer started at Bryan Collegiate in the Fall of 2015 and it is hard to believe that it has been 5 years since then! She loves the students here and is proud to be a part of the Bryan Collegiate staff!
