What did you major in at your college/university? I earned a Bachelors of Science degree and majored in Biomedical Sciences
What are you doing now? I am currently a high school science teacher at Bryan High School. I currently teach Advanced Placement Biology and IB Biology.
What would you like to tell current Bryan Collegiate students?
My advice for current BCHS students is to take advantage of all the opportunities you have. Free college is awesome, but what is even more beneficial is all the opportunities to develop good study habits and skills that carry on into your college experience. When I transitioned into college, it went very smoothly as I already had a lot of actual college experience and knew what I needed to do with time management, note taking, and other good habits I learned from BCHS teachers and classes. Don’t be afraid to use your resources and ask for help!
