Bryan Collegiate had six juniors enter the 2021 George H.W. Bush Library Essay contest this school year whose essays were based on Environmental Issues. Each student who entered the contest had to write a five to six page research analysis of an environmental issue of their choice.
Bryan Collegiate had three 1st place winners and one 3rd place winner.
1st Place Winners:
Mykila Albertie and her paper titled “Marine Pollution“
Iris Resendiz Lopez and her paper titled “Toxic Waters“
Zaid Torres Salinas and his paper titled “We Must Reduce Pollution“
3rd Place Winner:
Garrett Dollins and his paper titled “Space Waste”
All first place winners will receive a $100 gift certificate and will automatically be entered in the Young Spurs Essay Contest to win an opportunity to attend a conference/workshop with published authors.
