What did you major in at your college/university? Bachelor of Science in Horticulture with a concentration in Landscape Design and Management and a minor in Urban and Regional Planning
What are you doing now? Currently an account manager for a major landscaping company in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area where I manage a portfolio worth over $700K.
What would you like to tell current Bryan Collegiate students?
My advice to current BCHS students is to never give up and keep breaking those stereotypes. I am a DACA Dreamer. Both of my parents supported me through my entire college career and I made it despite the odds that were against me. I worked two jobs- working 40-50 hours a week to pay for my own expenses to minimize the amount of money my parents had to help me out with. I graduated from Texas A&M with honors and without ANY college debt. I am a first generation college student from Guerrero, Mexico with a college degree and a stable full time job in my desired field.
