Starting on Monday, March 23rd, Blinn College launched all of their classes to be online – this included the classes that are taught on the Bryan Collegiate campus.
I sent a message to all Bryan Collegiate students on Wednesday night (March 19th) and gave them these pointers about their Blinn classes:
- Blinn classes are all online, but some of the facilities at Blinn are open and available for you to use. But please do not go unless you absolutely have to in order to use the on campus facilities/resources.
- Stay in constant contact with your professors – this will be primarily through email.
- Ask for help if you need it! This is new territory for a lot of us including your professors.
- If you are not hearing from professors, or are having issues you feel you cannot resolve on your own, please let me or Mrs. Bechuck know ASAP.
- Look for an email from Mrs. Homeyer that will include a great video about taking online classes!
- Stay connected to your Blinn & BCHS email and check it at least once per day.
This week, the focus for all Bryan Collegiate students should be on their Blinn classes and adjusting to them. Encourage your student to be in communication with their Blinn instructors on a weekly basis.
