IB Science Students Learn with TAMU Chemistry Department

International Baccalaureate science students met with Dr. Nippe, a chemistry professor, and 2 of his graduate students.  They learned about infrared spectroscopy, were able to build molecules and generate simulated IR spectroscopy data, and then contextualized the concept in regards to the measurement of greenhouse gases.
We will be continuing our partnership with the A&M Chemistry department when our students visit their labs and run real-life samples in May.
